The CompVX features extraordinary thermal management, multiple wiring option and KICKER's unique speaker technology to deliver outstanding bass reproduction without distortion. Subwoofers love power, but hate heat. KICKER engineered several technologies to keep the CompVX as cool as your music, even with the volume turned up to eleven! Dual voice coils with high-temp copper windings  easily handle intense heat, while venting in the back bracing and along the spider landing provides max air flow and cools the voice coils. The cast-aluminium basket features motor-cooling perimeter venting, and a solid, extended pole piece increases heat dissipation while improving acoustic performance. It's a powerful thermal management system that is uniquely KICKER. A stiff cone and linear movement is the recipe for accurate sound. An ultra-rigid SoloKon™ cone with 360-degree back bracing provides strong, accurate bass, and a ribbed Santoprene­® surround is stitched for toughness. The semi-progressive-roll spider allows supports both substantial excursion and linear movement for the loudest bass with the lowest distrortion.
